Don McTigue has concentrated in the field of election and campaign finance law for more than twenty years.
He is the former Chief Elections Counsel to the Ohio Secretary of State and former Counsel to the Ohio Elections Commission. He has been in private law practice since 1991, representing and advising candidates, political action committees, ballot issue groups, elected and public officials and governmental bodies across Ohio.
Don assists clients with compliance with federal and state campaign finance and election laws, local and statewide ballot initiatives and referenda, voting rights, and all other matters involving elections. He has represented clients in numerous election-related cases before the Ohio Supreme Court and the Ohio Elections Commission. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Capital University Law School, where he teaches Election Law.
